The U.S. Population Speaking Spanish

 

According to the Pew Hispanic Research Center, the estimated number of Hispanics in the U.S. as of 2009 is 44 million. This figure means that the United States has the fifth largest Hispanic population worldwide (trailing Mexico, Colombia, Spain and Argentina - just barely behind Spain itself and Argentina).
